Time Use Conference 2024
Thursday-Friday
June 13-14, 2024
University of Maryland
Temporal Dimensions of Structural Racism and Racial and Ethnic Inequities
Time is a critical but under-researched aspect of racial and ethnic disparities in daily life, including social and public interactions, health and well-being. The focus of the 2024 University of Maryland (UMD) Time Use Conference will be using time use and well-being data to investigate temporal dimensions of racial and ethnic inequities and structural racism.
The 2024 UMD Time Use Conference will give members of the growing interdisciplinary time use research community the opportunity to interact and share ideas.
Program
This is a hybrid in-person conference with an online component, meaning some attendees and presenters will participate by teleconference.
Registration for In-Person attendance
Our registration form is simple and short. If you plan to attend only part of a given day, please let us know as this helps with planning. There's a place to mention this on the form.
Registration for Online attendance
These links can also be found on the conference program page for each day. We recognize that In-Person attendance for both Speakers and Attendees is generally a more enriching experience and strongly encouraged. We also recognize that In-Person attendance is not possible in all situations and therefore we are providing an online option as well for those that find it necessary.
