Spring 2024 Seminar Series

MPRC leadership has arranged a stimulating series of visiting scholar presentations, workshops, and special events during the upcoming semester.

Following the pandemic, seminars have been either online or hybrid presentations when possible.

Overflow parking is available for faculty and staff at the Mowatt Lane Garage (Lot U)

Please note :

  • MPRC public events for this semester will be a mix of in person and online via Zoom 
  • For in person events, all event attendees must follow current protocols for COVID-19
  • For Seminars and Workshop events that are held via teleconference, each event has a unique registration link; open individual seminar pages to get the link for that event.
  • At the present time, Morrill Hall is not accessible for people who are not able to climb stairs. If accommodations are needed, please send request to meeting organizer (mprc-support@umd.edu) at least 72 hours prior, if possible, to the event to allow time to discuss and implement alternatives.
  • If faculty are interested in inviting an undergraduate class to the seminar, please send a request to  so that we can assess the feasibility of accommodating them.
