Cohen: young disproportionately harmed by COVID's economic impact

Bloomberg News article examines family and employment impacts

Alexandre Tanzi and Maeve Sheehey, writing in Bloomberg News, point out that the Generation Z population is bearing the brunt of the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.They draw heavily on research by Faculty Associate Philip Cohen, who said, "If 2020 was like the previous three years, I would expect there to be 21.9 million of them [children] living with their parents. Instead there are 24.8 million living at home, an increase of 2.9 million from the expected number".
