Statistical Software Training Courses

The MPRC Scientific and Technical Core offers training in SAS, R, and Stata. Periodically, MPRC will host courses on special topics such as multiple imputation, event history models, and complex survey analysis.

About the Training

MPRC offers multiple-week, non-credit SAS, Stata, and R training courses. The classes are open to MPRC affiliated faculty and students, and course offerings will focus on SAS, Stata, and R topics relevant to population research.

2023 Spring Offerings

 

MPRC: What’s New in Stata?  February 16th 10:30-12

This session will cover updates introduced in Stata 16 and 17.  Topics include moving data between SAS and Stata, reproducible report writing, and parallelization.

MPRC: Using R and RMarkdown February 23rd 10:30-12

This workshop will discuss the basics of writing reproducible documents using Rmarkdown and integrating writing with analysis.
