Statistical Software Training Courses

The MPRC Scientific and Technical Core offers training in SAS, R, and Stata. Periodically, MPRC will host courses on special topics such as multiple imputation, event history models, and complex survey analysis.

About the Training

MPRC offers multiple-week, non-credit SAS, Stata, and R training courses. The classes are open to MPRC affiliated faculty and students, and course offerings will focus on SAS, Stata, and R topics relevant to population research.

Who Can Attend?

2024 Fall Offerings

MPRC's Scientific and Technical Core will be offering a three part workshop series on R.  This series will introduce R and R packages, provide an overview of data visualization options, and cover key concepts in statistical modeling and regression analysis in R.

Introduction to R October 29th 10:30-12pm

Data Visualization in R November 5th 10:30-12pm

Modeling in R November 12th 10:30-12pm
