MPRC Seed Grant funding increased
New maximum of $20,000
The Center leadership has approved a 33 per cent increase in the maximum funding level for MPRC Seed Grants, to $20,000.
Seed Grant funds can be used to obtain support for data entry, interviews, data acquisition, access to restricted-use data, travel costs related to data collection or meetings with collaborators, release time during the academic year, summer salary support, and graduate research assistance, for example, in order to complete preliminary research aimed at obtaining external funding. The Fall deadline for proposals is October 22.
There is a separate RFP for COVID-19 related projects. Applications are being reviewed on an ongoing basis.
