The closings and quarantines prompted by the coronavirus outbreak have given some families more time together.
Denise Lavoie, reporting for 21WFMJ News examined how American families are spending time with each other at home during quarantine under the impact of COVID-19 pandemic.
Faculty Associate Liana Sayer told Lavoie that research shows that parents have been spending more leisure time with their children since the 1970s. This increasing parenting trend is more likely to continue with the quarantine order as the coronavirus continues to disrupt daily life, Sayer added.
