Leonard organizes 37th BREAD Conference

Major networking and discussion event a cross-section of development economics leadership

Faculty Associate Ken Leonard, Agriculture and Resource Economics, organized the 37th Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD) Conference being held for the first time at the University of Maryland. A total of 80 professionals including fellows, researchers, faculty, and students gathered for discussion of the latest research in development economics. Among the attendees were several MPRC Associates: Pamela Jakiela, Jessica Goldberg, Sebastian Galiani and Susan Parker, who noted that the assembled group represented "the thought leaders in developmental economics.” MPRC co-sponsored the event.
