Biography:
Wade Jacobsen is an assistant professor in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice and a faculty associate at the Maryland Population Research Center. His research investigates the roles of schools and the criminal justice system in shaping child wellbeing and inequality. He earned a PhD from the Department of Sociology and Criminology at Penn State University and MS degree from the Department of Sociology at Brigham Young University. He also spent two years as a Research Specialist in the Center for Research on Child Wellbeing at the Office of Population Research at Princeton University.
