Professional Development Workshop for Early Career Investigators in Behavioral / Social Science Research and Cancer Prevention and Control
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) will host a workshop on August 10-11, 2017, in Rockville, Maryland, to enhance professional development of the next generation of behavioral and social scientists in cancer prevention and control.
Intended Audience: Early-career faculty members (within five years of completing a terminal research degree) with no prior NIH grant funding (with the exception of training awards or limited R03/R21 grant history). Experience in cancer prevention and control is helpful but not required.
Participation is free, but registration is required and will be limited. Attendees are responsible for their own travel expenses.
