NIH Paylines Improve
New standards encourage R01, R03, R21 submissions
NIH announced new paylines recently and has established standards at 13/14th percentile for R01 proposals and 17th percentile for R03 and R21 proposals.
This increase in available funding means that competition for funding is broadened and may encourage researchers to proceed with projects they've been holding in abeyance.
