Sayer on ride hailing-services
Writing for The Washington Post Samantha Schmidt reports on a new ride-hailing service for children between the ages of 6 to 18 that is expanding to the D.C. metro area. This service was a California-based start-up aiming to help busy parents transport their children from place to place.
Faculty Associate Liana C. Sayer points out that parents today want to spend as much time with their children as previous generations, despite their workload and busy schedules. “If you’re trying to maximize quality time with your children . . . you might look for ways to outsource this type of activity,” Sayer said.
