Roberts examines health impact of rail line
Article in the International Journal of Environmental Resources and Public Health
Faculty Associate Jennifer Roberts is leading a study in Prince Georges Country, Maryland, that will assess public health impact using development of a new light rail line as a natural experiment. The Prince Georges County project has the advantage of taking place in an area with an extremely diverse population. "While similar natural experiments . . . have been conducted in other U.S. cities, those studies lacked diverse and representative samples," Dr. Roberts noted.
