The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics will host a seminar presented by Sarah Peitzmeier.
Sexual assault is a pressing public health problem that affects as many as 1 in 3 cisgender women and 1 in 2 transgender individuals. In this talk, Dr. Peitzmeier will discuss her program of research to advance measurement, understanding, and primary prevention of gender-based violence in these populations, with a focus on sexual assault resistance education interventions, a feminist and evidence-based primary prevention approach.
