The Graduate Field Committee in Developmental Science will host a One-Day Workshop with guest speaker Dr. Diana Leyva and discussants Dr. Jessica Fish, Dr. Jennifer Turner, and Dr. Fanita Tyrell.
Lunch will be provided. Registration is free to UMD faculty, post-docs, students and staff. Register here.
The Workshop aims to:
- Highlight developmental science work addressing children’s healthy development outcomes in unequal context through strengths-based perspectives
- Engage researchers and practitioners in connecting the topic to their own work, leading to a greater understanding of how children experience inequality.
