Dr. Bitler researches the effects of government safety net programs on disadvantaged groups, economic demography, health economics, public economics, and the economics of education. She is co-editor of the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management and American Journal of Health Economics. And tomorrow she will be presenting on the long-term impacts of Food Stamps.
