Join us for an installment of the Joint Program in Survey Methodology (JPSM) Seminar Series as Christoph Kern, JPSM Visiting Assistant Professor from the University of Mannheim, presents "Predicting Panel Nonresponse with Machine Learning in a Longitudinal Framework."

About the Speaker

Christoph Kern graduated in 2011 from the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE), where he studied sociology with a focus on methods for empirical social science research. After completing his Ph.D. at UDE, he joined the University of Mannheim in 2017 as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Professorship for Statistics and Methodology. His current research focuses on the usage of machine learning methods in survey research.
