Biography:

Seung Wan Kim (Seungwan) is a doctoral student at the University of Maryland. Prior to attending the University of Maryland he worked as monitoring specialist for community development project in Uganda. He participated in a research project in Malawi focusing on maternal and children’s health and a research project in Uganda, “Building Market Linkages for Smallholder Farmers in Uganda.” He is specialized in quantitative method and data analysis. His broad research focus includes population and development with an interest in family demography. He wants to see how family structure and formation influence children's health behavior and family planning decisions in a developing country context.
