New Resource from the University of Maryland IRB Office
All researchers working as principal investigators on projects with human subjects are required to adhere to the guidelines of the University's Institutional Review Board. As a service to scholars, the Maryland IRB Office has published an Investigator Handbook, which serves as a quick reference guide for IRB-related issues, concerns, and guidelines. It is meant for new researchers as well as seasoned veterans. The Table of Contents is hyper-linked to allow users to jump straight to their section of interest.
Be on the lookout for a more detailed and thorough manual of Standard Operating Procedures, scheduled to appear later in fall 2014.
