Accelerating the Pace of Child Health Research Using Existing Data from the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development Study

NIEHS / NIMH R01, R21 - June 5, 2022

Supports R01 and R21 research projects proposing the analysis of the public use dataset from the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study to increase knowledge of adolescent health and development. The ABCD Study collects data on health and mental health, cognitive function, substance use, cultural and environmental factors, and brain structure and function from youth starting when they are 9-10 years-old and following them longitudinally to early adulthood. More information about the ABCD Study may be found on the ABCD Study web page (www.abcdstudy.org). This program supports standard R01 research projects and seeks shorter, higher-risk R21 grant applications.

Deadline: June 5, 2022
