Tobacco Regulatory Science Program
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) invite R01 applications to the Tobacco Regulatory Science program supporting biomedical and behavioral research that will provide scientific data to inform regulation of tobacco products to protect public health. Projects must address the research priorities related to the regulatory authority of the FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products, and are expected to generate findings and data that are directly relevant in informing the FDA's regulation of the manufacture, distribution, and marketing of tobacco products to protect public health. Up to eight awards with a combined total of $4 million may be made. Eligibility is unrestricted.
