Webinar: Demography and the Data Revolution - Lessons learned and the way forward

IUSSP delivered a work programme designed to cultivate and strengthen links between the fields of demography and data science. Its aim was to foster methodological advances to enhance demographers’ capacity to conduct cutting-edge research on data for development; to increase their contribution to the data revolution by ensuring the use of more accurate and timely evidence; and to enable decision makers, academic researchers and civil society representatives to make better use of population data to inform development policy.
