NIH Plan to Redistribute Resources
Focus on Biomedical Research
The NIH have introduced a plan to redistribute grant funding after reports that 10% of NIH investigators receive over 40% of the funding. Investigators will be restricted to a maximum of 3 R01 grants or an equivalent number. The implementation of this plan will take place over the next few months.
