PRB 2016-17 U.S. Policy Communication Training Program

Funded by the NIH and NICHD

The Population Reference Bureau (PRB) is inviting applications for its U.S. Policy Communication Training Program, for the 2016-17 academic year. The program has two components: a week long Washington Workshop between June 19 - June 28, 2016, and a Practicum in which participants will be expected to prepare policy communication materials. The aim of the program is to teach participants how research informs policy, and how to communicate research findings to U.S. policy audiences.

Applicants must be between the 3rd and 5th year of their doctoral program, and should be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Applicants from any field are eligible to apply, so long as their research area is related to demography, health and productivity at the population level, or social research on reproductive health.
