NCHS Service Fellowship in Statistics

With the Division of Vital Statistics (DVS) in North Carolina

The DVS, as part of the NCHS, is seeking a Service Fellow in Statistics for its Data Acquisition, Evaluation, and Classification (DACEB) branch at the Research Triangle Park in North Carolina. The fellow will be responsible for evaluating the quality of birth, death, and fetal death data, and providing quality assessment feedback to jurisdictions. 

The fellowship will have a duration of 24 months, extendable up to 5 years. All applicants should have a graduate degree in Statistics (or related field), programming experience with R or SAS, and knowledge of vital health statistics. Applicants must also be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents.
