NHIS to be Redesigned by 2018
Director requests comments on new design
The National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) will be redesigned and updated by 2018. The new questionnaire design is aimed at making data more valuable for data users. As part of making this exercise more collaborative, the Director of the Division of Health Interview Statistics is inviting comments from both existing and potential users of the NHIS, to determine the relevance of existing content, the need for new content, and the preferred timing of data collection for different variables.
