Dahai Yue awarded $3.5M to research the impact of childhood experiences on life expectancy
$3.5M grant will support the largest individual-level data gathering on mortality in the U.S.
A $3.5 million grant from the National Institue on Aging was recently awarded to Faculty Associate Dahai Yue to lead research on mortality in the U.S. The grant will support research on why mortality disparities exist, as well as to examine how childhood experiences impact life expectancy.
"To our knowledge, this will be the largest individual-level data gathering on mortality in the U.S.," said Yue.
