Eliza Reiman, writing in Business Insider, looks into political responses to the Biden administration's policies on child care and the potential impact of a drop of 300,000 births because of COVID-19.

Faculty Associate Philip Cohen told her, "Throughout history, bad times mean falling birthrates." Because of COVID-19, he said, "a lot of people suffered a lot, a lot of people had dramatic changes in their lives, and we see it now in the data - they're just not having as many children."
