Summary of Abraham and Kearney work makes Top-Ten list

Top-ten 2018 Reads on the Future of the Middle Class

Richard Reeves and Katherine Guyot were cited in a Brookings recap on the Top Ten 2018 reads on the Future of the Middle Class. Their February 2018 article asked, “Why are Young, Educated Men Working Less?” and summarized findings from a paper by Katharine Abraham and Melissa Kearney, "Explaining the decline in the U.S. employment-to-population ratio: A review of the evidence." The bottom line, they say, is that "Young men are going to college, but not going to work."
