Frances Goldscheider receives Harriet B. Presser Award
Recognition for her contribution to research on gender and demography
Faculty Associate Frances Goldscheider received the Harriet B. Presser Award at the Population Association of America Annual Meeting in Chicago in April, 2017. The Harriet B. Presser Award is awarded biennially to scholars who have made considerable contributions to research on gender and demography. Dr. Goldscheider has published over 100 articles, and has contributed extensively to research on women's role in the second demographic transition, men's role in housework and childcare, and various other areas within the field of gender, marriage, and fertility.
