MPRC Announces Winners of the 2016 Summer Student Research Grant Competition
In its third year, this program drew proposals from eight Student Research Affiliates. We congratulate the following students, whose proposals were judged to be of the highest quality.
Eowna Young Harrison, Sociology, “Contraceptive Choice: Use, Non-Use, and Method Selection.” Ms. Young Harrison is this year’s winner of the Suzanne M. Bianchi Summer Research Fellowship.
Jae-In Lee, Sociology, “Class, parenting, structured time use and young adult outcome.”
MPRC Summer Research Grants are awards intended to provide promising MPRC Student Research Affiliates with summer research time or other research resources to complete work on a paper or extended abstract to submit to the Population Association of America (PAA) Annual Conference. They are supported by the Suzanne Bianchi Endowed MPRC Student Research Support Fund, a tribute to the Center's Founding Director.
