About the Presentation

The negative mental health consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic are well documented, and these consequences are unevenly distributed across the population by gender, often reflecting differences in family resources and responsibilities. This study involves analyses from two datasets which document how mental health burdens for women and transgender people shifted during the pandemic period and explanations for these changes, especially linked to parenthood and partnership status.
