In this talk for UMD Prevention Research Center, Dr. Cerezo will share recent community-partnered research projects that explore how intersectional discrimination impacts mental health and substance use among racial and ethnically diverse LGBTQ+ communities. Cerezo will also discuss intersectional approaches to health equity research, including qualitative and quantitative work.

The UMD-PRC Seminar Series is our internal-facing educational opportunity for those in the UMD community looking to learn more about LGBTQ+ related research. Keep an eye out for our webinar series, which is external-facing and geared more towards LGBTQ+ mental health related practice!
