About the Presentation

Even in countries where abortion is legal, many people are unable to access care. Dr. Foster presents the results of the US Turnaway Study, a nationwide longitudinal prospective study of the health and well-being of women who seek abortion including those who do and do not receive the abortion. She will also discuss predictors of being denied an abortion in Nepal and the methodological considerations of studying access to and consequences of abortion.
