Brian also worked for the O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University conducting program evaluations on pediatric HIV programs.

The Global Health and Culture lecture series facilitates interdisciplinary engagements focused on the social context of health among the University of Maryland community, especially undergraduate students. The Global Health and Culture lecture series is a collaborative effort between the College of Behavioral & Social Sciences and the School of Public Health. Public Health without Borders is a co-sponsor of the 2018 Global Health and Culture Lecture.

The Global Health & Culture lecture series aims to promote interdisciplinary engagement---especially among undergratuate students---focusing on the social context of health. It was established in 2016 as a collaborative partnership between the School of Public Health and the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, and is made possible by many co-sponsors including SPH, BSOS, the Office of Undergraduate Studies, MIAEH, the Department of Anthropology, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, the Pepsi Enhancement Fund, Public Health without Borders, and College Park Scholars.
