The Refugee Crisis of 1939: U.S. Policy in the Face of Nazism. This event will feature a special showing of the film, Complicit, which looks at the U.S.'s decision to turn away Jewish refugees fleeing from  Nazi Germany in 1939 aboard the SS St. Louis. Speakers following the film will include academics, Former Ambassador Stuart Eizenstat, and survivors from the SS St. Louis.

Reception at 3:30 p.m., Film and panel begin at 4:00 p.m.
