The spatial analysis group (SAG) at the University of Maryland consists of researchers from 11 different academic departments and two outside organizations. UMD academic departments involved with this group include:

The Maryland Population Research Center, a unit of the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park, hosts this group. SAG researchers meet monthly where one researcher showcases his/her work. Other researchers provide input and guidance for continuation of the project.
