Journal Club meeting coming up November 14
Hans-Peter Kohler, a well-known demographer from the University of Pennsylvania, will be a virtual attendee at the next meeting of the MPRC Journal Club. Dr. Kohler will join MPRC graduate students and faculty via Skype for an in-depth discussion of a selected journal article from the journal Science (Gerland et al. 2014, "World Population Stabilization Unlikely This Century"). Dr. Kohler will discuss the population projection methods used in this paper, as well as how to publish in a prestigious journal like Science.
