Biography:

Terence Thornberry was Director of the Problem Behavior Program at the Institute of Behavioral Science and Professor of Sociology at the University of Colorado. He was awarded the Edwin H. Sutherland Award by the American Society of Criminology in 2008 was an invited speaker at the White House Conference on Helping America's Youth in 2005. His recent research focuses on intergenerational factors in the study of criminal behavior.
