The Maryland Population Research Center's Graduate Student Association (GSA) was established in the Fall
of 2004 to give our graduate student affiliates a voice in how the Center operates. Since its inception, the MPRC
GSA has grown substantially. Over 90 graduate students from more than 10 different departments on the University of
Maryland campus have joined the MPRC GSA.
Each month during the academic year, graduate student affiliates meet with Center staff to give feedback and raise issues about what is going on at MPRC. These meetings are open to all registered MPRC GSA Members. Joining the MPRC GSA is easy and members recieve a variety of benefits including discounted statistical software, members-only events and much more.
