WIRELESS ACCESS
Wireless access will be available at a charge of $9.95 per day and covers all buildings on the Aspen Wye River campus, including rooms. Please note: if you choose to take advantage of this service, we will not reimburse you.
MORE TIPS
FLY INTO BWI:
Washington, DC is serviced by three major airports ?Dulles International Airport (IAD),
Reagan National Airport (DCA) and Baltimore-Washington Airport (BWI). Because the conference center is located in
Queenstown, Maryland, it is recommended that you fly into BWI as it is the most convenient airport to the conference center.
From BWI, the Aspen Wye River Conference Center is about a 1 ?hour drive (from DCA and IAD it is about 2 hours).
LOCAL TRANSPORTATION:
Because the conference center is located about 1 ?hours from BWI airport, a shuttle
service will be arranged to transport passengers from the airport to the conference center and back. In order to maximize
these trips, please follow the recommended arrival and departure times listed below.
RECOMMENDED ARRIVAL TIMES:
International & West Coast Travelers ?Arrive on Sunday, June 3rd by 5PM
For those travelers who will be arriving on Sunday, June 3rd (the day before the conference), please plan to arrive no
later than 5pm at BWI Airport. Lodging arrangements will be made for you at the conference site and a shuttle service will
pick you up and transport you to the Aspen Wye River Conference Center that evening.
Monday, June 4th Travelers ?Arrive by 7AM
For travelers coming in on Monday, June 4th, please plan to arrive at BWI Airport no later than 7am (if taking the train,
please plan to arrive at the BWI airport train stop at this same time). Travelers will meet the shuttle service in baggage
claim and will then be transported as a group to the Aspen Wye River Conference Center located in Queenstown, Maryland --
about a 1 ?hour ride from BWI Airport.
Tuesday, June 5th Travelers ?Arrive by 6AM
For travelers coming in on Tuesday, June 5th, please plan to arrive at BWI Airport no later than 6AM (if taking the train,
please plan to arrive at the BWI airport train stop at this same time). Travelers will meet the shuttle service in baggage
claim and will then be transported as a group to the Aspen Wye River Conference Center located in Queenstown, Maryland --
about a 1 ?hour ride from BWI Airport.
WHEN TO LEAVE:
The conference officially ends on Tuesday, June 5th at 4pm; therefore, please plan to depart the conference center
at 4:15pm for transport back to BWI airport ?arriving at about 6pm. Please schedule flights back for no
earlier than 7:30pm to allow enough time to check-in and get through security. For international and west coast
travelers, lodging arrangements near BWI airport can be arranged for the night of Tuesday, June 5th.
